Bad Urach

Also known as Urach

Bad Urach is a spa town on the edge of the Swabian Jura in Baden-Württemberg, south-western Germany. In the Middle Ages it was the seat of the counts of Urach and later passed to Württemberg; from 1442 it was the residence of one of the two lines into which the county was divided, until reunification in 1482. Its castle and late Gothic buildings date largely from that period.
