Baqt
The Baqt was the agreement made in 652 between the Nubian kingdom of Makuria and the Arab rulers of Egypt, after Makurian archers repelled Abdallah ibn Sa'd's attack on Old Dongola. Makuria sent a yearly tribute of slaves in return for grain, wine and cloth, and each side agreed not to attack the other. It kept the peace, with interruptions, for about six centuries, an exceptional arrangement in early Islamic history.
