Bayana
Bayana is a historic town in Bharatpur district of eastern Rajasthan, India, overlooked by the hill fort of Vijayamandirgarh. In the early medieval period it was a seat of the Jadaun Rajputs, and it later became an important fortress and indigo centre under the Delhi Sultanate and the Mughals. The Battle of Khanwa in 1527 was fought nearby.
