Bhaktapur
Bhaktapur is a city in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, about 13 km east of Kathmandu. It was the capital of the Malla kings of the whole valley until the late 15th century and then of the independent Kingdom of Bhaktapur until the Gorkha conquest of 1769. Its Durbar Square, palace and temples, such as the five-storey Nyatapola, are part of the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Site.
