Blies
The Blies is a river of western Germany and north-eastern France, about 100 km long, rising in the north of Saarland near St. Wendel and flowing south to join the Saar at Sarreguemines. For part of its lower course it forms the border between Germany and France, and its valley lies in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve.
