Bono Region

The Bono Region is an administrative region of western Ghana, created in 2019 when the old Brong-Ahafo Region was divided. Its capital is Sunyani. It takes its name from the Bono state, one of the earliest Akan kingdoms, and it includes the traditional area of Banda in its north-west.
