Nafana people

The Nafana are a people of west-central Ghana and eastern Côte d'Ivoire who speak a Senufo language. They founded the kingdom of Banda in the hills north-west of the Bono state, close to the trading town of Begho on the gold and kola routes, and they remain the main people of the Banda traditional area in Ghana's Bono Region.
