Cenél Comgaill
The Cenél Comgaill were a kindred of Dál Riata in Cowal, in Argyll, named after Comgall, son of Domangart, a sixth-century king. Not counted among the three main kindreds in the Senchus fer nAlban, they appear in the annals as a separate group, and Conall mac Comgaill, who granted Iona to Columba, was of their line.
