Chidiaonga
Chidiaonga was a leader of the Maseko Ngoni in the nineteenth century. After the death of Mputa, under whom the Maseko had moved north to the Songea area of southern Tanzania and been driven back, he led them into the highlands south-west of Lake Malawi, where they settled around 1870. Leadership later passed to Mputa's son Gomani I.
