Clichy
Clichy is a town on the Seine immediately north-west of Paris, in the Hauts-de-Seine department of France. In the Merovingian period it was the site of a royal villa where Dagobert I held court and was married, and church councils met there in the 7th century. It later became an industrial suburb of Paris.
