Dezful
Dezful is a city in Khuzestan province, south-western Iran, on the Dez river at the foot of the Zagros mountains. It grew around an ancient bridge across the river, built in the Sasanian period, from which it takes its name. Nearby lie the ruins of Susa and Chogha Zanbil, and the surrounding region was part of ancient Elam.
