Rimush

Rimush was a king of the Akkadian Empire and a son and successor of Sargon of Akkad. His reign was dominated by campaigns to suppress revolts among the Sumerian cities and other subject territories. Both Rimush and his brother Manishtushu were assassinated, illustrating the empire's dependence on the personal military ability of its rulers.
