1228–1229 · 13th century

The Divriği Great Mosque and Hospital is a joined mosque and hospital in eastern Anatolia, built in 1228–1229 by the Mengujekid ruler Ahmad Shah and his wife Turan Malik. It is famous for the richly carved stone portals, unlike any other Seljuk-era building. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
