East Prussia
East Prussia was the easternmost part of Prussia on the south-eastern Baltic coast, centred on Königsberg. It grew from the lands of the Teutonic Order left after 1466, which became the Duchy of Prussia in 1525 and the core of the later Kingdom of Prussia. Separated from Germany by the Polish Corridor after 1919, it was divided between Poland and the Soviet Union in 1945.
