Ecclesiastes

Ecclesiastes is a book of the Hebrew Bible, part of its wisdom literature, presented as the reflections of Qoheleth, the Preacher, son of David and king in Jerusalem, traditionally identified with Solomon. Its theme that all is vanity under the sun, balanced by counsel to enjoy life and fear God, is usually dated by scholars to the fourth or third century BCE.
