Song of Songs
The Song of Songs, also called the Song of Solomon, is a book of the Hebrew Bible consisting of love poems in the voices of a woman and her lover. Traditionally attributed to Solomon and read in Judaism and Christianity as an allegory of the love between God and Israel or Christ and the Church, it is usually dated by scholars to the Persian or Hellenistic period.
