Eisack

Also known as Isarco

The Eisack, in Italian Isarco, is a river in South Tyrol, northern Italy, flowing about 96 kilometres from the Brenner Pass to join the Adige near Bolzano. Its valley carries the main road and railway over the Brenner, the chief route between Germany and Italy since Roman times, and Brixen lies on its banks.
