Enlil-bani

r. c. 1860–1837 BCE · 19th century BCE

Enlil-bani was a king of the Isin dynasty in Mesopotamia in the 19th century BCE. Later Babylonian chronicles tell that he was a gardener installed by King Erra-imitti as a substitute king to avert an evil omen; when Erra-imitti died suddenly, Enlil-bani kept the throne. He ruled for about 24 years.
