Falémé River

The Falémé is a river of West Africa, a left-bank tributary of the Senegal, that rises in the Fouta Djallon of Guinea and forms much of the border between Senegal and Mali. Its valley runs through Bambuk, one of the great gold-producing regions of medieval and early modern West Africa.
