Ganimi Kava
Ganimi Kava is the Marathi term for the guerrilla tactics associated with Shivaji and the Maratha Empire. Using light cavalry, rapid raids, ambushes and hill forts, the Marathas avoided pitched battles with larger armies such as those of the Mughals and wore them down.
