Geraint of Dumnonia
Geraint was a king of Dumnonia in south-western Britain around 700. Aldhelm of Malmesbury wrote to him urging the British clergy to adopt the Roman date of Easter. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle records that Ine of Wessex fought him in 710, part of the West Saxon advance that absorbed Devon and left the British kingdom confined to Cornwall.
