Govinda II
Govinda II was Rashtrakuta emperor of the Deccan from about 774 to 780, the son and successor of Krishna I. His short reign, in which he is said to have neglected government, was ended by his younger brother Dhruva Dharavarsha, who defeated him and his allies in a struggle for the throne and went on to make the kingdom a major power in northern India.
