Gulf of Kassandra
The Gulf of Kassandra, known in antiquity as the Toronaic Gulf, is an arm of the northern Aegean Sea in Chalcidice, Greece, between the Kassandra and Sithonia peninsulas. Its ancient name came from Torone on Sithonia, and Olynthus stood on hills near its head. Its shores are now lined with resorts.
