Hermes of Andros

The Hermes of Andros is a marble statue of the god Hermes as guide of souls, found in 1832 at Palaiopolis, the ancient city of Andros, in the Cyclades. A Roman-period copy of a 4th-century BCE original related to the style of Praxiteles, it probably stood on a tomb. It is displayed in the Archaeological Museum of Andros.
