Hobart

Hobart is the capital of Tasmania, Australia, on the estuary of the Derwent River beneath Mount Wellington. Founded in 1804 by David Collins as a British penal settlement, it is Australia's second-oldest capital city after Sydney. It grew as a whaling and shipping port and the administrative centre of Van Diemen's Land.
