Inflanty Voivodeship

Also known as Polish Livonia

The Inflanty Voivodeship was a province of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth formed from the part of Livonia that Poland-Lithuania kept after its 17th-century wars with Sweden, roughly corresponding to Latgale in modern south-eastern Latvia. Its seat was Dyneburg (Daugavpils). It was annexed by Russia in the First Partition of Poland in 1772.
