Jhalawad
Jhalawad was one of the historic regions, or prants, of Kathiawar in Gujarat, western India, in the north-east of the peninsula near the Little Rann of Kutch. It took its name from the Jhala Rajputs, who ruled several of its princely states, including Dhrangadhra, Limbdi and Wadhwan. Its dry plains were known for cotton, and it now lies mostly in Surendranagar district.
