Jizan
Jizan is a port city on the Red Sea in south-western Saudi Arabia and the capital of Jizan Province. It was part of the Idrisid emirate of Asir in the early 20th century and came under Saudi rule in the 1930s. Yemen's claim to the area was given up in the Treaty of Ta'if of 1934, after the Saudi-Yemeni war.
