Junkers

Junkers was a German aircraft and engine manufacturer based in Dessau, founded by the engineer Hugo Junkers. It built early all-metal aircraft and the Ju 52 transport, and after its takeover by the Nazi state in 1935 produced warplanes such as the Ju 87 Stuka and Ju 88 bomber. After 1945 its works in Dessau were dismantled by the Soviet occupiers.
