Karnburg
Karnburg is a village on the Zollfeld plain north of Klagenfurt, in the Austrian state of Carinthia, the probable seat of the princes of Carantania and later a Carolingian palace. The Prince's Stone, on which new dukes of Carinthia were installed in a ceremony partly in Slovene, stood there. Its Church of Saints Peter and Paul is among the oldest in Austria.
