Zollfeld

The Zollfeld is a plain in the valley of the Glan, north of Klagenfurt in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It was the site of the Roman city of Virunum, capital of the province of Noricum, and later the centre of Slavic Carantania. The Duke's Chair, used for the installation of the dukes of Carinthia, still stands there.
