Karthaia

Also known as Carthaea

Karthaia was one of the four ancient cities of the island of Keos in the Cyclades, on its south-east coast. Its ruins include temples of Apollo and Athena, a theatre and city walls. With Ioulis, Koressia and Poiessa it formed the Keian tetrapolis.
