Kells
Kells is a town in County Meath in Ireland. A new monastery of the community of Columba was built there in the early ninth century after Viking raids on Iona, and it became the chief house of the Columban monasteries. The Book of Kells, kept there in the Middle Ages, takes its name from the town.
