Little Aden
Little Aden is a rocky peninsula on the western side of the bay of Aden in southern Yemen. Britain bought it from the Aqrabi sheikh in the 1860s and attached it to the Aden Settlement. In 1954 the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company opened a large refinery there, which later passed to the Yemeni state.
