Llangadwaladr

Llangadwaladr is a small village in south-west Anglesey, Wales, near the royal court of Aberffraw. Its church, dedicated to Cadwaladr, holds the Cadfan Stone, a seventh-century inscribed memorial in Latin to Cadfan ap Iago, king of Gwynedd, describing him as the wisest and most renowned of all kings. It is one of the earliest monuments of the kings of Gwynedd.
