Lund
Lund is a city in Scania, southern Sweden, founded by Danish kings around 990. It became a seat of bishops and, in 1103 or 1104, the archbishopric of all Scandinavia, and its Romanesque cathedral was consecrated in 1145. It passed to Sweden with Scania in 1658, and its university was founded in 1666 to bind the province to the Swedish crown.
