Minotaur
The Minotaur is a creature of Greek mythology with the head of a bull and the body of a man, born to Pasiphaë, the wife of King Minos of Crete, and a bull. Minos kept it in the Labyrinth at Knossos and fed it with young men and women sent from Athens, until Theseus killed it. The story may echo the importance of bulls in Minoan religion and art.
