Molopo River
The Molopo River is a mostly dry river of southern Africa that rises near Mahikeng and flows west towards the Orange River. In 1885 Britain made it the dividing line between the Crown colony of British Bechuanaland to the south and the Bechuanaland Protectorate to the north, and it still forms part of the border between South Africa and Botswana.
