Mount Li

Also known as Lishan

Mount Li (Lishan) is a mountain near Xi'an in Shaanxi, China, with hot springs at its northern foot. According to tradition King You of Zhou was killed there in 771 BCE when the Marquis of Shen and the Quanrong sacked his capital. The tomb of Qin Shi Huang lies at its foot, and the Tang emperors built the Huaqing Palace on its slopes.
