Nabu-shumu-libur

r. c. 1033–1026 BCE · 11th century BCE

Nabu-shumu-libur was the last king of the Second Dynasty of Isin, ruling Babylonia from about 1033 to 1026 BCE. Little is known of his reign, which was troubled by Aramean incursions, though an inscribed stone duck weight bearing his name survives. After him the throne passed to Simbar-Shipak, founder of the Second Sealand Dynasty.
