Nam Dinh
Nam Dinh is a city in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam, south-east of Hanoi. The surrounding coastal district was the homeland of the Tran clan, which founded the Tran dynasty in 1225, and the Tran kings built a secondary palace complex at Thien Truong nearby. In the 19th and 20th centuries the city became a centre of textile manufacturing.
