13th century · 13th century · Also known as Nigudar

Negüder was a Mongol commander of the Golden Horde who led Jochid troops sent to the Middle East with Hülegü's expedition in the 1250s. When war broke out between the Golden Horde and the Ilkhanate in 1262, his men, cut off in eastern Iran and Afghanistan, became an independent force, the Negüderis, raiding Khurasan, Sistan and India. They later merged into the Qara'unas of the Chagatai and Timurid era.
