Ogasawara Tadazane was a Japanese daimyo and relative of the Tokugawa who in 1632 received the Kokura domain in northern Kyushu, with 150,000 koku, when the Hosokawa were moved to Kumamoto. Guarding the Kanmon Straits, he took part in suppressing the Shimabara Rebellion of 1637–1638, and his descendants ruled Kokura until the Meiji Restoration.
