Osorkon I
Osorkon I was the second king of the Twenty-second Dynasty of Egypt, son of Shoshenq I, reigning for about 35 years in the late 10th and early 9th centuries BCE. He made lavish gifts to temples across Egypt, recorded at Bubastis. A statue of him inscribed by Elibaal, king of Byblos, shows the continuing ties between Egypt and the Phoenician cities.
