Osu Castle
Osu Castle, formerly Christiansborg, is a fort on the coast at Osu in Accra, Ghana. Built by the Danes from 1661 on land bought from the Ga, it was the headquarters of the Danish Gold Coast and a centre of the slave trade until it was sold to Britain in 1850. It later served as the seat of government of the Gold Coast and of Ghana.
