Qana (Yemen)
Qana was the main port of the ancient Kingdom of Hadramawt, on the Arabian Sea coast of southern Yemen near modern Bir Ali. Frankincense from Dhofar and the interior was collected there for shipment, and the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea describes it in the 1st century CE. Excavations have found warehouses and pottery from the Mediterranean and India.
