Qezel Ozan

Also known as Qizil Uzan

The Qezel Ozan, the 'red river', is a river of north-western Iran that rises in Kurdistan province and flows through Zanjan province, then joins the Shahrud at Manjil to form the Sefidrud, which cuts through the Alborz mountains to the Caspian Sea. Its valley in Tarom was the home of the Sallarid dynasty in the 10th century.
