Segobrigii
The Segobrigii were a Ligurian or Celto-Ligurian people living around the site of Marseille when Greek settlers from Phocaea arrived around 600 BCE. In the foundation legend of Massalia their king Nannus gave his daughter Gyptis in marriage to the Greek leader Protis and granted land for the colony. They are known almost only from this story, preserved by the Roman historian Justin.
