Senchus fer n-Alban
The Senchus fer n-Alban ('history of the men of Scotland') is an early medieval Irish text describing the kingdom of Dál Riata in western Scotland. It gives the genealogies of its main kindreds, the Cenél nGabráin, Cenél Loairn and Cenél nÓengusa, with the number of houses in their districts and their duty to provide men and ships for the fleet. It probably originated in the 7th century.
