Silingi

The Silingi were a branch of the Vandals who probably lived in Silesia, which may take its name from them. They crossed the Rhine in 406 and entered Hispania in 409, receiving Baetica in 411, but were almost destroyed by the Visigoths, fighting for Rome, in 416–418. The survivors joined the Hasding Vandals.
